Redefining Regulatory Frameworks to Close the Digital Divide

Cartagena, Colombia | June 22, 2017. 14:00 – 15:30 hours

The technological progress resulting from digitisation has produced countless benefits for consumers around the world. Primarily leveraged by mobile, access to digital content is becoming universal, with more than three billion people connecting through these devices every day. However, the fast-paced dynamism of the digital ecosystem complicates the task of establishing rules capable of maintaining their validity for any length of time. The GSMA Workshop “Redefining Regulatory Frameworks to Close the Digital Divide” is aimed at regulators, government authorities, regulation specialists, academics and the general public.
